Does anyone know of a site where we can estimate taxi fares from the HRH to several spots around town? Thanks. We are flying in and don't want to have a rental car.

Funny little story (NoT!)....

My daughter and I took a cab from AllStar Music to Universal in January. It was our first time and we were excited and up bright and early. I bought my Universal tickets from Expedia because I got a day free and printed off the voucher to redeem when I got there. I also had read about not bringing bags so I don't have to use lockers at the park, so I had only brought my money and the voucher.

So we're $17 into the cab ride and had just passed Downtown Disney when I decide to look at my voucher and realize I need to show ID!!! So we have to turn around and go back to the hotel and $75 later, we're at IOA.

Looking back, I think A) why didn't I read the voucher more carefully, and B) no kidding I need my ID to redeem the voucher!! What was I thinking?

Holly if you do this again. Take the Disney bus to DTD and grab a cab from there. Then cab back to DTD and bus back to resort. You will save a lot on cab fare.

Yes, I knew that part. We went there at the end of the day to eat dinner.

The DTD bus didn't start pick ups until 9am and we wanted to be there bright and early because the boards made it seem like if you didn't get to IOA the minute it opened, you'd never get into Hogsmead!

Turns out we learned that if we went the opposite way from the Brazillian tour groups, everything was relatively empty.

As far as a spa's, my DW loves the one at Portofino Bay @ Universal resorts.Dw stated "I got the best treatment EVER at a spa for what I paid".
