Taxi Question??

Our party of 3 has grown to a party of 5. We are staying on WDW property and NOT renting a car. One night we are venturing out to Margaritaville from POP resort and were planning on taking a cab. Will they allow all of us (5 adults) to squeeze in 1 cab? Please say yes I already made a town car service reservation through FL Tours and have to call them tomorrow to inquire about how we are getting all 5 of us in 1 car..May have to upgrade to a van or limo service. Hopefully it wont be too expensive.

any suggestions, please let me know.,

I am not sure but I believe it is usually a $10 to $15 upgrade for the van but I believe that is total for a roundtrip. I did read somewhere that you can get a taxi for more people by just asking at Pop to call it in and ask for a van. Anyone hear that or do that? I would be curious to know.

You can get a van (as a taxi) at the resorts. We were a party of five and did this several times our last visit. When you ask for a taxi at the taxi stand at the resort they will ask how many in your party and send for the appropriate vehicle. We didnt have any problems at all.

The last post is correct...Just tell them you have a party of five and they will send a van. The cost of the trip will be the same, as I don't believe they charge by the person.

WOW you guys are wonderful..This is great information...
I found out today, it is only an additional $15 for a van round trip for our airport transfers...

Im so glad we can all ride together when we go to Margaritaville! I really do hope It doesnt cost extra...Thanks SOOOOOO MUCH!

Technically, the sedans will accomodate 5... but it will be tight. The vans have more room, and are the same price.
