Hi All,

I have a quick question re: taxis whilst in Paris, I'm hoping someone can help with.....
Basically, we will be flying into CDG the night before our Disney arrival date (it seemed a better option than losing a whole day) so we have booked to stay at the Tulip Inn for our first night. It's address says Marne le valley in Disney area in the centre of bussy st George?!
Anyway, we have booked with ezyshuttle from CDG to tulip inn for €70 (the same as our return trip from Cheyenne to CDG). I then asked for a quote to transfer us from tulip inn to the Cheyenne on te following morning. Ezy shuttle have quoted € 40 for this trip. Does this seem a lot to anyone else :confused3
I'm wondering if this is because they are a shuttle service coming out solely to transfer our party what I'm guessing is only a short distance?

My question....sorry I can never ask a quick one there is always plenty of rambling first...... :rotfl:
1-are there taxi services locally that I could ring on the morning of the transfer who may be able to offer a cheaper service? Or

2- am I being a wimp and are we better just hopping on the train as it says the station is 200m away and a 5 min journey?

If it makes any difference we are travelling at the end of August and it will just be me and my mum (65) with my 2 kids DS (6) and DD (3)

Many thanks for any help!! (and glad to be back-not been able to log on for ages!!)

if the Tulip in is in Bussy St Georges, and you can fit yourselves and all your luggage in one standard saloon taxi, then yes, its cheaper than ezyshuttle to get your hotel to ring a cab for you. We stayed in Bussy st George one night last year, the taxi driver we got from the station to our hotel offered to take us to DLP next morning for 25 euros.

The train is very easy from Bussy St George too, you can't get lost as the platform direction is well signposted once you are in the station (which is small so easy to get around). For your party I think it would cost something like 7 euros total for your single rail tickets to DLP.

Thanks so much for such a fab detailed reply!! :thumbsup2
That's made me feel so much better about just waiting, I know I've still got a couple of months but was starting to panic!

I'm probably still more keen on the taxi idea (would be different if OH was there but just me and mum may sruggle) but at €7 and if it's that easy that's definitely tempting. Will speak to mum about the options .... Thanks again. :goodvibes
