Taxi price from Long Beach???

How much does it cost to get from Long Beach Airport to DL? Also, at night, about how long does the taxi trip take?

We haven't used a taxi, but plan to on our next trip. Someone posted a week or two ago that it cost around $40, maybe $38 + tip?

Thanks. I knew I'd read it somewhere, but wasn't sure if the info was current or if I'd ran across an old post somewhere. Any idea on how long the drive is?

It's fairly quick, but timing probably depends on the time of day. We were in a rental car, heading out in the early afternoon, and I think it took maybe 20 - 25 minutes? Not bad at all.

Our flight in is on a Friday night at 8:30, and I think we fly out on Sun night at almost 9pm, so we're likely looking at similar traffic. Thanks!

We did the taxi back in October, and it was $36. We got in around 8:00am on a Monday and it only took 25 minutes to get to the PP hotel. They have a set rate to the Disneyland area. Our hotel also had a voucher for a $45 max rate for the return, but it ended up being around $40. They may ask you if you want to take the freeway or the streets, be sure to tell them you want to take the streets. The freeway is often more congested and mileage wise a little longer if I remember right. It will cost you more money.

I was just in a cab on Sat in long beach and from the airport, the flat rate was $39.

Just a rough estimate... for around 10 miles local drive, its around $30.

Flat rate from LGB to Anaheim in November 2006 was $36.

Just thought I'd post a follow up. All of the posts were quite accurate about the flat rate for cab cost from Long Beach Airport to Anaheim. Of course there is NOT a flat rate for the return trip. Our cab from Anaheim to Long Beach Airport was $50. YIKES that is a big cost difference!
