Taxi from WDW to Universal?

Since we plan on staying on Disney property - how do we get from WDW to Sea World and Universal? If we ask, will the concierge desk call for a taxi cab?

You can take the Mears shuttle for 12.00 round trip per person (children under 3 are free).

They also have a taxi fare estimator on that site so you can see if it might be cheaper to take a cab.

My friends took a cab from their hotel to Universal. I think it was $35 each way (unless they meant round trip). May as well rent a car at that point.
