Hi there!
I need to get from the Swan to SOG early in the AM Sat, Dec 1. We're arriving late the night before, and I need to buy our passes (FL Seasonal)there before we go to MK for Breakfast at Cinderella's at 9:30. I figure if we get there around 7:30-8am we'll have time to buy the tickets, and get to MK, and activate the passes and make it to the Castle around 9-9:15. We're meeting other people for this PS (3 families sharing), so I esspecially do not want to be late.
How much is a cab fare do you think? I assume we'll all go (2 adults and 2 kids), then walk to the Poly afterwards to catch the monorail. Should I order the cab the night before or are there usually some out there waiting that early?
Is there a big hold up first thing in the morning getting into MK now, with no EE and the bag checks? How much time should I allow for activating the passes and getting in/up to the Castle?
I've been debating if we should opt for a rental car, but I'm still leaning towards doing towncar and taking the taxi to SOG. We'll be at the Swan for 10 days. Last time we stayed there, we used Disney transportation, but we tended to stick to the boats to and from Epcot and MGM, and for MK once we took the bus and other times we walked thru Epcot then took the monorail. Never did AK that trip, and since my DD wasn't feeling well, we spent most of our time either at Epcot or the resort.
This trip I'm hoping to spend a lot more time at MK (my fav), do one or 2 MVMCPs, and have a couple of no-kids-nights, maybe running over to Pleasure Island.
Think Disney Transportation is ok, or should I spring for the rental (I have a full size reserved at National EA for $210)?
Love to hear your opinions!
Always ;-)
