Taxi from Pop to Walmart

Whats the best way for me to get to Publix? We are using ME so we wont have a vehicle. We'll be there for 12 nights so I wanted to pick up a few items instead of bringing them down. I suppose it doesnt need to be a Publix but something similar.

Any idea on cost?

Have you ever been to Gooding's ? It's a supermarket located at the crossroad's of LBV. It's probably the nearest food store to Disney property, and it's right up the street from Downtown Disney (not really walking distance, especially with bags of food) They might even deliver. Not the cheapest place but considering the location it's not that bad.

I selected Blizzard Beach (instead of looking up the address of POP) to Walmart in Kissimmee. The one-way result was a trip distance of 11.0 miles and an estimated fare $23.75.

There's a Winn-dixie not to far away that we have been to couple of times. the fare should run you about $10+

From Pop Century, the Publix next to Gaylord Palms would be the closest and best bet. There's also a brand new Super Wal*Mart right on the corner of 535 and Osceola Parkway, so that would be pretty close to Pop as well.

ALWAYS AVOID GOODINGS AT ALL COSTS, no matter what resort. There's a Winn Dixie a half mile past Goodings that is half as expensive.

I second that on Goodings, they are so expensive that you would spend any savings you had on the taxi. Go the extra distance to the Publix. It is a really, really nice store.

Right near Gaylord Palms. From Pop, you'd exit out, and make a left at the lights. Then another left onto Osceola Parkway. At the Gaylord Palms, make a right, and Publix is just past the overpass, on the left side. Would take about 5 minutes to get to.

Tyler, can you give me directions to the new WalMart? I don't mean street name directions. I mean like take a right at the light at Crossroads, go under I-4, etc., etc. I am more of a landmark type person than a street name person. I can never keep 535 and 536 and Osceola and whatever straight.

I wish I could, but I've never actually been to this Wal*Mart. I go to the Wal*Mart close to my house. I only know about it because my roommate shops there. (Not quite sure why)
