Well, if I had just read a little more I would have seen this question already answered on the "cadsburymom" thread by TaxiMan. Silly me.

Does anyone know the cost of a taxi from MCO to POR French Quarter? There are only 2 of us, so Towncar seems kinda overboard and I don't want to take Mears unless I have to. They've taken soooo long on all my previous trips. I keep looking at rental cars for the week, lowest rental for the week is $176 including taxes so far. But I probably won't use the car during the week anyway since the WDW Bus service is awesome! RT Mears would cost $59 + tips. Is a taxi worth the $$$ to save time? If it's going to cost the same as Mears, I'd say "yes"!
