Taxi from John Wayne Airport?

How much will the cab fare be from Orange County to the DH? I know there are shuttles, but don't they charge per person, whereas we can share a cab for a single price? Plus if you take a shuttle, I assume there will be many stops at other hotels. We get in pretty late at night and I'm thinking that it would be so much better to just get in a cab and go. Or are there any car services that anyone would recommend? Thanks!

I don't know. Hopefully someone will see this and get you an answer....I'm curious about this too. Does someone have info. about a private car service as well?
