Taxi from CR/BLT?

We are flying in 2 weeks and staying at BLT. We want to get a taxi to a local store to pick up a few groceries (but probably not enough for the $40 minimum for GG). What is the closest store and approximately how much would the taxi be? Are they typically waiting outside (and at the store?)
