Taxi ??? from a country bumpkin

If my DH and I decide to take a taxi from the Boardwalk back to POR after Illuminations, about how much will it cost? How much do you tip? I've never taken a taxi in my life(I live in rural West.Mass)so have no idea on tipping procedures.

We took a taxi from YC to WL and the cost was about 12.00. I tipped 20%.
I would think that the cost would probably be about the same to go the POR.
