taxi for 5 within Disney

We are leaving for Disney tomorrow staying at the WL. I have heard that at times it is faster/easier to take a taxi instead of Disney transportation. We are a party of 5 ... are there taxis big enough to take us or will we need to take two?

Hi Norma,

We have fit 5 into a taxi several times. If you won't fit into a regular car you can ask the desk to call for you and the taxi company will send over a van.

Our last several visits I have noticed that there is almost always at least 1 minivan taxi sitting at the resorts.

Does the minivan taxi cost more than a regular taxi?

Vans are the same price as regular taxi's. Check with the valet and they can have a van there in a few minutes. Better yet, call from your room before you leave and they will have the taxi waiting for you.
