taxi at airport

Can someone give me an estimate of how much it would cost to get a taxi from MCO to CSR? Also, where exactly do you get a taxi at the airport, are they on the same level as the Magical Express buses?

My brother in law and a niece are flying in a day later than the rest of us for our next trip. They won't have any checked bags, so I thought it would be a lot faster for them to just grab a taxi from the airport, instead of waiting for a DME bus. They will be landing around 10:30 at night, so the quicker they can get to the resort the better!

Mears has a taxi estimator, but it doesn't seem to be working right now. I think it was about $50-$60 for a taxi and $70-$85 for a car service. The car services give you a better rate on the return if you book round trip. Check mousesavers for transportation info.

That's about right pricing wise, but don't forget that a tip generally is expected in addition to the fare. Cabs and all ground transportation are available in level one on both the 'A' and 'B' sides of the terminal t MCO. (DME also is on level one but only on the 'B' side.) There are signs directing you to where the taxis are waiting for passengers.

There are taxis ready & waiting on both sides on level one which is the same level as ME (but ME is only on B side). There is a podium where you check in to get a taxi, outside of the doors. The fare is around $65 to an Epcot Area resort, not sure on the rest.
