Taxes on Tickets

I know that there are different taxes at different resorts, parks etc. depending on the county. Does anyone know if that means that buying things like tickets could be more expensive or cheaper depending on the location? I am thinking that I would be willing to go to a different park, hotel, disney springs etc. if it meant saving some money(7 Gold DVC annual passes). I would assume someone would have thought of this already but I couldn't find a thread.

1. Nope.
2. The tax will be the same.
It is "locked" at 6.5% no matter where you buy the tickets (and that even includes buying outside the state of Florida.)

Ok thanks for letting me know. I kind of figured that I would have heard about it if there was a difference from place to place but I knew there was a difference from gift shop to gift shop at Disney world.

Looks like buying at the parks or Disney Springs is your best bet. Seems that only the All Stars and ESPN WWoS are in Osceola County, which has the higher tax rate.
