Tax refund yet?

No problem. We're waiting on DW's final K-1 form as well, but in the meantime, they were at least nice enough to provide estimated numbers so we could get a general idea of how painful April might be.

What is a K-1 form? We're going to Ohio this weekend to have our taxes done, I sure hope this is not something we need.....we own various rental property and will also be paying capital gains this year on a rental property we sold....I have a feeling this year is going to be realllllly ugly. I sure don't want to get to Ohio and find out she can't give us any figures because the right forms aren't available......

It's not an Ohio form. It's the Federal form for Distribution of Partnership (or LLC) Revenue. You should be fine -- I don't think there's anything you'd need different in Ohio that you don't already have.

geeze I haven't even rec'd my w2s yet. I just got my mortgage interest statement from the bank yesterday.

I have to wait on DH w-2 because I don't even have his last paycheck stub to go off of. Even still, I have to wait till the 31st because turbo tax doesn't have the energy saving worksheet online yet and it states that it will be updated on the 31st and then I can file. My mortgage figures, I got from my last statement as well as printed it off online.

I got my federal refund this morning - just like Turbo Tax said I would. Woo hoo!

IRS accepted the next day,

sez it'll be in my account on 2/2

You can actually check your status on the IRS website. www.irs.gov and click on where's my refund.

I just filed with H&R block online this morning.

I LIVE for tax season .. Our refund is gonna be split in half between our savings account , and the other half is for our WDW vacation.

That's the same thing I do with mine! 1/2 goes into savings, with the other 1/2 I pay off any outstanding bills I've been putting off and the rest goes to WDW vacations - last year it was two plus a trip to USO/IOA.

We have a appointment on Sunday afternoon to file with H & R Block - looking forward to this year's return. We have a new baby to add to our ranks of deductions in 2006.
