tax on package question

I recieved a pin in jan which we used to book a upcoming trip
10/19-11/2 is the dates of our package

now i checked the disney website today and plugged in the same info for the same trip with the code qxg (the public fall getaway code)

now when i do that i get a qoute thats a little more than 200.00 cheaper??

if i scroll down it says qoute doesn't include trip insurance
but what about tax? is the package taxed? or is that price inlcuding tax?

i'd feel a fool if i called reservations to try to get a cheaper rate only to have the tax bring it right up to what it was

The quoted price includes tax. I just booked a trip last saturday using code QXG - 4 nights at ASSp and 2 adult 4 day park hopper tickets (Dec. 12-16) for a total of $771, tax included. If I subtract the price of the park tickets, the room comes to about $198 for the four nights. It was a better deal than the bounceback reservation I made in July. That reminds me - I need to cancel my bounceback reservation - I totally forgot about that!!

hmmm that means that if i book with the code i would be saving some dough... i think i will have to call disney tomorrow
