I finally sat down to start our taxes with TurboTax last night and am have a problem with an "income" section. My DH has an HSA account and his work provides them with a $5,000 deductible and he also contributed an additional $1,000. We received a 1099SA for the account. Nowhere does it show his additional contribution (which is pre-tax) or the amount that the deductible is. It only shows the amount that we used the account for.

Any help as to how to enter this information in TurboTax?

The amount he contributed is probably already deducted from the taxable wage amount on his W-2.
