Hi,

My friend who lives in Florida and I are thinking about doing a really short trip to MVMCP the day after Thanksgiving. I would fly down from Massachusetts and I found a Airbnb for her, her kids and I. I was wondering how much the tax is on a MVMCP adult ticket and a children's ticket. We need to know to put the prices in our budgets. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks so much. :smickey:

You can see this buy starting to purchase tickets in the MDE app. Taxes change based on price of ticket so you you’ll need to look at your dates to know the exact amount of taxes for your tickets.

You can see the price without completing the sale.

Total is 6.5%

6% for Florida plus .5% for Orange County

Piggybacking off this question…

I heard Florida doesn’t have sales tax this month (July). Will that work for buying WDW tickets electronically from another state?

There is no sales tax holiday right now. There was one in early June for hurricane preparedness and another end of August and early September for back to school items. Even during these tax holiday's theme park tickets are not included in the tax holiday.

I seem to recall a tax holiday last year for entertainment related things. This is because I wasn't charged sales tax for a couple months of our AMC A-List subscription last summer. Movie tickets were part of that tax holiday. I don't think WDW passes were included in that.

Florida Freedom Month is happening in July, which is a tax holiday on certain admissions and outdoor activity related stuff. I think last year it was all summer, but just July this year. But it does not include anything theme park related.
