Tax-Extra Fees?????????

If I rent point for my stay are there any additional fees I will be responsible for paying when I reach the resort? i.e. taxes or usage fees. If there are taxes, how are they calculated? I'm sure this is a simple one but please forgive me I'm a newbie to renting points.

There are no room taxes when renting from a DVC member. The only extra charges incurred would be for items charged to the room (purchases, meals, phone calls).

The good news is that there are NO taxes or extra fees when you rent points from a DVC member for your reservation. The ONLY negative that you should be aware of has to do with housekeeping. You will NOT receive regular, traditional maid service if you stay one week or less. You will receive a trash empting and towel replacement on the fourth day of your stay for stays less than one week and for stays over one week, there will be full housekeeping service on the fouth day and a trash and towel service on the eighth day. You may contract with housekeeping for full service on a per day basis at fees that range from $25.00 to $60.00 depending on the size of the villa. Towel replacement is available for $6.00 per set of 4. Most members would rather do the housekeeping themselves rather than pay the daily fee.
