Tax deductions for these things?

In 2009 we did this:

installed whole house fan
patio cover
sun shades

Anyone know if we get any sort of deduction for these things? They made us more energy efficient. I'm hoping...

I'm gonna say no unless you used a home line of credit you can take the interest.

No because its only energy efficiant things like doors or windows or some sort of whole house ac system... I wish it was deductable but I dont think it is
