Tattoos in Morocco

Be aware that you have to wait for it to dry and that if you don't want it coming off no swimming for a couple of days. Also, they did mine in brown rather than black and when the ink dried it was a very pale brown and not the dramatic dark you see on other tattoos.

"Black henna" is NOT henna and is toxic. Disney doesn't use it. Depending on your skin tone the tattoo will come out in a range of orange to red to brown tones. The wetter you keep the paste throughout the day before letting it flake off the richer the color will be (easiest way at WDW to do this would be to just mist it with the water fans often, but the hardcore will set it with a lemon sugar water coating and wrap with plastic wrap).

My Disney henna tattoos seem to last 2 weeks as I can not protect them as well. It also depends on the placement. My ankle henna lasted 2-3 weeks, but my hand designs only last a week or so, as I wash my hands often.

My henna tattoos I get at home, last much longer 3-4 weeks as I can protect them better.

Wow, those are beautiful. I have always wanted to do one in Epcot - but of course I want some type of Hidden Mickey.

We are heading down in May - maybe I'll try this year.

How long do they last?

I agree AK usually has very little or no wait & I believe opens earlier then 1:00.

I have had tattoos from both AK & EP, just above my ankle, both lasting aprox 2-3 weeks. There is also a location in Disney Springs (not sure of the exact location). To keep it long lasting, I get it as early in the day as possible, and after it is dry, let the henna fall off on its own, do not pick or scrape it off. I found the longer you keep this on the deeper the color. Also, if you do go swimming, you can put clear deodorant over it, sometimes that can help it last longer.

I had one done in Epcot in January. We stopped around 7 pm and there was one person ahead of us, so it took about 30 minutes until the two of us were done. I got mine on the inside of my arm just above my wrist and it lasted almost a month.

You can keep your henna "wet" by applying a paste of lemon and sugar - it gets sticky, so not recommended for parks.
Don't remove the henna using water - try using some kind of oil. Try not to get your hands wet the first 24 hours - sanitizer is fine.
Traditional henna is orange - brown, depending on strength - black henna has a lot of toxic stuff, so I don't use it.
Have fun :-)
