I applied for the Disney program, and so did my friend.
My friend has two tattoos on their arm, and I was wondering, does anyone know if that will generally disqualify them? I've seen threads with people saying that tattoos they had weren't a problem, but they weren't on the arm, so I'm curious if she'll be completely out because of it.
Any help or ideas would be welcome! :)

From what I've heard, as long as they're not too big or obnoxious, and can be covered by your costume/ makeup maybe, you should be good. Just make sure your friend tells Disney exactly where and about how many inches each one is, and what they are:upsidedow

I have a friend, that I met here on the disboards actually, he had tattoo sleeves on both his arms, and he has done two programs! He had to always wear the long sleeve options though, but like spoonfullofsugar said, just make sure it gets mentioned in the interview. It won't automatically disqualify you, but it does limit the roles a little.

My girlfriend has one on her ankle, she just had to have it covered, and since she worked at World of Disney it wasn't a problem.

I have a tattoo on my wrist (it's about an 1.5 inches long by .5 inches tall) During the interview they will ask location, size and if you can/would be willing to cover it. I think that as long as you are upfront with them they don't mind.

You can have a beard now, tattoos won't be a problem. They'll just need to be prepared for a long hot summer with long sleeves.

I have one on my arm, but it's upper arm so it was covered by the costume - I didn't have to wear the long sleeves to cover it, but there was someone on my first program who had to. I did have to do makeup for the one behind my ear (or I guess didn't HAVE to, but felt better for doing so) and another coworker wore a bandaid every day on his wrist, which you are NOT supposed to do but which did not ever get him in trouble. Like everyone said, just tell your friend to be very honest in the interview. I thought my tattoos and piercings were going to be a problem when I rolled in for my Disney look check on our first day - little did I know it would be my natural hair color that they had a problem with! :rotfl: Didn't even mention the tattoo or the multiple ear holes. Ah well. :rolleyes1
