I took a look at her profile and it's been over a month since she has had any activity. If she is not on anymore, I wonder if another designer would take over and do the designs for us.

Some DISigners take a break from the boards for awhile............ and a month really isn't long enough to deem her NOT HERE anymore....... NO where have I seen where she has given permission for another DISigner to customize her designs......... therefore, I doubt you'll find anyone who will - at least for the time being. Hope you all understand!!

Hopefully she'll be back soon and can let us know what her status is!!

Thank you SO much for being my voice when I couldn't be here! Just another reason that I love these boards so much.

On the customizing matter, I'm a bit....torn. On one hand, if someone needs something and they're leaving - and I'm not here, then I'd hate for them to NOT have something (though, that makes me sound a bit like I think people's vacations would be ruined without my Disigns but I know YOU know what I mean). The other hands says, 'meh', it's a bit personal.

So, yeah, I dunno how I feel about it!

First trip's are always special! My son and I had our first trip last September (first for both of us!), and we're going again this year with another first timer; so I'm looking forward to seeing the magic through his eyes

As for the image, it could be one of any of a few things, so we'll try to figure this out.

First - are you saving the actual image file?
--When I post requests in my thread, I use the 'thumbnail' code from Photobucket, so that the page isn't stretched out. The image itself should be clickable, and that will bring you to the actual file in my Photobucket account.

Second - are you enlarging the image in said Photobucket account?
--Since all computer screen resolutions and settings are different, you might find that if you hover your mouse over the image in the Photobucket account, there is a magnifying glass. If there is, click that - so that you are viewing the file in it's largest size. That should be the one that you save.

Third - is the image saving as a .png file?
--As stated on the first post of this thread, I prefer to use .png files; since the quality is greater then that of a .jpg file, and it allows me to save the image with a transparent background (great for those putting images on a colored t-shirt). Most newer computers are able to recognize this extension and save it correctly.

If you save the file and it is showing as a .jpg or .jpge extension, then it will automatically default to a black background. If this is the case, I can simply re-upload your file as .jpg, and insert a white background. Then there will be no black

Again, these were done for an off-board request! They are meant to be faded and nearly see-through in some areas, in a mock 'vintage' feel. When/if requesting - please specify the trip YEAR!. If none is included, I will default to 2010
