Yesterday I bought Rosebug Tarzan on dvd (£5 in Tesco) as a reward for being brilliant. We watched it today and I forgot how enjoyable it was. DH had never seen it and LOVED it, I mentioned that there was a Tarzan show on at DLP when we are there and he is now banging on about going to see it.

Has anyone seen it? When/where is it on and how long does it last? I know nothing about it!

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Its amazing - see it every day if you can :). Its in the theatre right at the back of Frontierland, its on 3 or 4 times a day, the show lasts about half an hour and is an acrobatic/gymnastic show to the music of the Tarzan movie, and featuring the gorilla family, Tarzan and Jane.

We were watching the movie earlier this evening, and I kept flashing back to the DLP show we saw last month :goodvibes.

Thanks! :goodvibes Sounds fantastic! Are the queues massive to get in?

Will def try to catch it! DH is most excited about this now!

Oh, we all love Tarzan! Saw the movie when it first came out when my eldest 2 were young and they adored it. When we saw the show at dlp years ago we videoed it and my youngest still watches it.

It's very well done, and definitely worth going to see. I'm sure there are some clips on youtube if you want to see some before you go :goodvibes

the theatre has a large capacity seated, so don't worry if you see a long line snaking through Frontierland before the doors open for a show, as long as you are there 10 minutes or so before a show start time you'll get a decent seat :).

Excellent! Thank you! Can officially say we go next month now, so excited!

It's a great show, we did it a couple of weeks back, had a perfect seat right in the middle at the front and a wonderful CM who we chatted to and got Tarzan and Jane to meet us at the end when everyone else had gone, was a lovely experience and our Owen loved the attention, three of the monkeys came out too and were playing around with his wheelchair, it was just great.

wow thats a great sprinkling of pixie dust.

will this run into the winter now?

No, the show finishes in early September.

It doesn't run in winter. From November to early January they use the theatre for Mickey's Winter Wonderland which is a musical ice skating show featuring Mickey and friends. It's also very good.

I can't think why Tarzan is so popular with all the women on here! :lmao:

I prefer watching the gorillas in the Tarzan show - wonder what that says about me :confused3:rotfl::rotfl:?

I know Rottie had posted some very ermmm informative pictures about the Tarzan Encounter a little while ago if you search some of his threads they should show up

aawh :( we always miss tarzan.
Thanks for the info guys

I remember them, I think he particularly enjoyed the show!

My gf also loves it and it doesn't take a genius to figure out why! Now I know how she feels when I'm watching a Rihanna video!
