Well, you are not alone because they converted the Swiss Family Tree House at Disneyland into the Tarzan Treehouse. It's basically the same except for Tarzan figures in the scenes and the music. The layout is a little different at DL, but it's pretty similar overall. They did this a while back, probably around the time Tarzan came out. I actually kind of prefer the Tarzan version, though I refer to both attractions as "Stairs: The Ride."

I love both treehouses but the Swiss Family Robinson version hold a special place in my heart. I was around 12 when I saw a rerelease of that film and I adored it.

Well, re: that aspect: it's good exercise and you can avoid for a few blissful minutes strollers and people on scooters. I usually stay at the top most lookout for a good 10 minutes enjoying the views and peace and quiet. I hope they never screw with the treehouses.
