To each his/her own, but there's no way the Lion King show is overrated. It's easily one of the best shows in Disney. I liked Tarzan Rocks and was sad to see it go, but I wouldn't be so silly as to say it was 100 times better than FOTLK.

P.S. Hope you have flame retardant clothes on, because a lot of people will certainly not agree with your opinion.

I agree...the Tarzan Rocks show was good, but FLK is ten times better.

I too will surely miss Tarzan Rocks. We really enjoyed it and the audience interaction was fantastic.

I so agree with you, and so does my DH and our kids. LK was just ok, but Tarzan, that was an awesome show and we will miss it. I wouldn't bat an eye if they took out the LK show.

Haven't seen Lion King, but saw Tarzan Rocks and it just wasn't for us. I'm glad we saw it once, but even if it didn't close down, we wouldn't go back to see it. Would rather walk around the parks or go on rides.

From what I understand, Tarzan Rocks was closed because of the noise from Everest, and not just because they wanted to close it. It remains to be seen what will end up there, but if they enclose the theater I would imagine they would create a different show that makes more use of the dark settting.

I, for one, never get upset when a show that I have seen before closes. I've seen it, let's see something new. Yes it was good, but I am excited to see what new magic they can come up with. That's just me.

Just for the record. FLK is much, much better than Tarzan. Much better

Well, not so much.

There would be no problem with just enclosing the theater and re-opening Tazan Rocks (same as they did with FotLK).

TR had CM's out "trolling and herding" for folks to attend most shows.
It was NEVER nearly as popular as FotLK.

FotLK is SRO for most shows.

Both theaters were "off the beaten path" (so to speak) so that's not the issue.

DAK would not be closing TR if it were viable to keep it.

"Finding Nemo" (the show reportedly going into this re-built theater) would have an appeal to much younger kids (something lacking in both "Tough to Be a Bug" and the very LOUD Tarzan Rocks) and would draw more families to the show.
