Tarzan Rocks is Closed???

My DD and I are BUMBED about this. We just LOVED TR! I look forward to seeing a new show but was hoping for something a little more than Nemo. Not that we don't love Nemo but you couldn't be the TR show! Glad we got to see it before it closed.

Thankfully, yes, I've heard this show is closed. I'm sorry you liked it, but to some people it was far too loud and boring to enjoy. I hope they find something good to put in its place. Sorry, but if I want to see a bunch of skating or roller-blading, I'll find the nearest empty parking lot where teenagers hang out.

When a truly awesome and imaginative show (Festival of the Lion King) is in the same park, I'm sorry, but it's hard to justify keeping this one running. FotLK raised the bar pretty high, and Tarzan just limboed right under that bar. It's too bad, because a theme like Tarzan deserved a better show than the cheesy pseudo-rock they played and a bunch of skating monkeys.

May I ask how old you are? You may not enjoy the rollerblading, but as a 14 year old who has seen the show every trip since it came out, I can say that kids loved it. It was high energy and entertaining. Now that I'm 14, I had begun to appreciate the music and the acrobatics....I'm sure that's ot easy to do...And hey, Tarzan's not too bad to look at, now is he?

We are planning another WDW trip for the end of this year, '06 and I just read Tarzan Rocks is closed. We liked the show when we saw it finally for the first time last year New Year's Eve. I had no idea that would be our only time. Tarzan music is my favorite music of all Disney movies. I am sure the new attraction will be great. Kathy
