Tarzan rocks closing in early 2006 details??

Hello everyone. I have a 4 year old Tarzan fan, and we are planning a trip to Disney in April or May next year. I just read on allears the following "In May 2005, Disney announced that Tarzan Rocks! is closing in early 2006, so that the Theatre in the Wild can be enclosed and air conditioned. No replacement for the Tarzan show has been announced at this time."
Does anyone know any further information?? When exactly it's closing? When it does, how long until it reopens?? How disapointed my little guy will be if it's closed when he gets there, we've heard great things about that show.

Sorry I can't tell you much other than I don't think Tarzan Rocks will be reopening. From what I can gather, the show isn't very popular ( DD, DW and I love it....but hey, they closed Horizons and the Lion King show at MK too! ) and WDW has decided to move on to something new. We will see Tarzan Rocks for our last time in Nov. If your DS is a big fan I'd suggest moving your trip to WDW up while there's still time.

I hope it doesn't close but to tell you the truth I am suprised it has been around as long as it has - it never seemed that popular. My DS would LOVE to see it on our next trip so I hope it is still there in February.

We never liked the show, too much of the same thing. Although Tarzan was cute. Hands down, the best show at AK is Festival of the Lion King.
