Tarzan & Jane autographs?

We're going to WDW in January & DD5 is determined to get Tarzan & Jane's autograph. Are they out anywhere on a regular basis? Anybody have any sightings around the parks?

I did not see them at all in December 2001 . I would, however, love to see them this December. Therefore, I am bumping your post to see if anyone else has seen them.

Both are relativly rare- especially Tarzan. Jane has been making more frequent appearences in recent years, but she's still fairly rare. I saw her this Summer outside the entrance to AK (you can see a pic of her in my signiture). Hope you find her.

I, too, only saw Jane at the entrance to AK in the morning at opening. This was last October.

Those are 2 that we have yet to get too. It will be interesting to see if anyone has in fact gotten Tarzan.

When we were there in Sept. we asked a CM at AK about Jane and she said she has only been at the gate at clsoing time, but it is very sporadic. Of course, the one day we decide to stay until closing to see if we can get her, it starts raining just before the parade and didn't stop! Needless to say, there were no characters out and about in the rain. Oh well, there is always next year!!!

My friend and I lucked out! We were at AK 3 years ago and ran into Jane and Tarzan right outside the tree of live immediately after entering the park that morning. They were just wonderful and we got great pics of each of us with them. I've only seen Jane once since then- outside the front gates in the afternoon this past June. Tarzan I have yet to see a second time.

We actually saw Jane in Epcot last year. She was at the spot I think they call the Outpost. It's where the African drummers perform.

Those two characters are missing in my autograph book, too. Last week I was at WDW and checked three different times for Jane at AK, but she was never there. Oh well! Maybe next time!

Last summer, we got Tarzan and Jane just outside the entrance to AK. Tarzan was the same as the one in the Tarzan Rocks show, so I would assume that is why he is so rare. Only saw Jane this year outside AK.

Saw Jane (more than once) in July just outside the entrance of AK. We saw Tarzan only once - in 2000 he was at Conservation Station - I asked there this time and was told that he doesn't appear there anymore.
