I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just ordered my tickets to the Broadway show Tarzan. :cool1: I got an e-mail from Disney Visa to order before the general public. We are going May 27th for the 2:00pm show. I can't wait, this is going to be both my DD's first Broadway show. If you can, get the tickets ASAP, they seem to be going fast. :flower:

::MickeyMo Hmmm...that's really interesting. I've seen all the basic, you know, Phantom, Les Miz, Rent, Aida, J&H, Chicago, Cabaret, 42nd St, blah blah blah, but never Beauty and the Beast or Lion King. I'm crazy aren't I? I think I have to see those before Tarzan. LoL. ::MinnieMo

There was just an article in the NY paper about Tarzan yesterday. It seems the little boy who was to play young Tarzan on Broadway, won't be allowed to play the role as he is not an American. Seems Equity rules are that you can't be a foreign citizen and star in a Broadway show unless you are already an established star and be well known. It seems a little unfair as he came to New York to audition, and was obviously the best choice and was what the producers thought was perfect for the show, and now they aren't giving him the role. I am sure he is very talented though, and will get another part soon somewhere else.

I can't wait for this to be a road show. Even though I'm sure that will be a few years down the road. Thanks for the heads up.
