Does anyone know if the sale items are going to be available online as well? I would really love to take advantage of the internet instead of going to the store in person......I can't find it stated anywhere one way or the other. Thanks!!!!:goodvibes

Do you happen to have a link to what they have going on sale on the 21st? I don't have a store near me (at least 40 minutes away) and shopping from home is a lot easier. Hoping you can do that.

Then again, if the sales are good enough, I might make a trip.

Good question. I think I'll give my Target a call. If I can get the ONE item I see in the ad that I want online, I can also get my AAA 10% discount and, maybe, free shipping....

ETA: I called and I am told that Target and Target.com are separate. They may or may not honor each other's prices. You won't know until the ad comes out and you check Target.com to see if the price is the same. :(

I got this LINK from sksjasams on the Black Friday thread.

The policy is to NOT ad match our online prices. Or any online prices. If you want to ad match it needs to be straight across same item for same item. The policy is no percents off, B1G1, special sales like 2 day sales, competitors coupons, or even things in another paper that say 2/$12. We also don't honor ad matching for another stores "bundle" special. Bring the entire ad with you to the store...another store's ad printed from the internet will not qualify. The ad you bring in must also be dated.

Now, I'm sharing our official policy. I realize that sometimes folks behind the Guest Service desk are not fully aware of the official policy, so YMMV.

Disclaimer: Yes, I work for Target in Guest Service. :)

Dumb question, but here goes.....when and where will the flyer be?

Thanks for your input! What if the sale price is in the printed ad? Will the same sale price be online as well?

If I bought some TAG books earlier this week, will I be able to take in my receipt and get the sale applied?

Not necessarily. Our internet site is almost a completely different animal from our brick & mortar stores.

Let's say you bought your purchase last Sunday, November 14th. Our new ad arrives Sunday, November 21st. You should be able to have your purchase from November 14th price adjusted until Saturday November, 27th. You should be able to have any purchase made between November 14th and November 20th price adjusted.

Hmmm....so if I buy the item I want now and it goes on sale on Sunday.....

Can I go buy it today and then take it in to have the price adjusted to the sales price on Sunday????

Yes. And you shouldn't have to have the item with you. You should just be able to take your receipt in.

Since this isn't a "traditional" BF sales with doorbusters, and all -- I would have to say that the majority of the flyer's items will also be sold on Target.com

Now, there are some toys, etc. that require use of a store coupon -- those may not be available for a discount at the website.

I have previewed Targets BF sales the last few years and then gone to purchase some of the items at regular price the week before. On BF (late in the day, when the craziness has died down) I walk in to CS and get a price adjustment! Works great. Just know that many of the big doorbuster deals may not be available for this. Still, I get toys, clothes, household items this way. So far, I've not seen anything to even go early for this year.

I went in after work and bought the Acer netbook they have on sale starting Sunday. My plan is to take the receipt in Sunday and have them price adjust it. If they won't do it, then I will just return it and get a full refund. :rotfl:

I heard from a friend, who heard form an online friend that Target will have the DSi on sale Sun for $119. I popped into our Target tonight and asked and the guy back in electronics said he wasn't sure, but said hea heard they would be going on sale soon.

Looks like I'm going to pick them up (both boys want one for Xmas) and make sure I keep the receipt i na SAFE place in case they do not go on sale Sun.

How do people find out in advance of the next weeks sales?

In the previous page, someone posted a link to the Target ad for next week. Just keep your eyes open and you will see people posting "tips" for upcoming sales. I checked the scan of the Target ad and, yes, they have the DSi on sale for $119 starting Sunday but it's only on the white ones. Who really cares about the color anyway? Get them the white one and then a protective cover in a different color and they will be set!:woohoo:

Here's a link to a prettier version of the ad..

Just so everyone knows, Target Team Members are prohibited from discussing future sales of any sort (especially the BF/2-Day Sale) with the general public -- if it ever got back to local store management, the TM could suddenly find himself/herself unemployed.

While it's always fun to get the "advance scoop" on these things, let's continue to do so in a manner that doesn't involve any interaction with retail store employees -- those guys and gals are going to have enough on their hands, come next week.

Is there a restocking fee for the netbooks? Did you get buy the neoprene sleeve too?
