Target's Our Generation Doll

Anyone have one of these? I have seen them talked of on the net as basically a cheaper AG doll. At target yesterday I got a pack of three outfits for $5 and a pack of something like 9 pairs of shoes for $5. I went ahead and bought and figured I could return them if they wont work. My dd is going to get the Doll that comes with the Princess Tea at Grand Floridian that I think is supposed to be an MDG doll wich is supposed to be similar to the AG doll. I'm just wondering what the chances are that these things will fit her soon to be new doll...

dd has 3 AG's (and one bitty baby) and she got the horse riding outfit of our generation doll for xmas and it fits fine. I saw those outfits at target yesterday and she didn't want them - not even all those shoes. I think it was a great price for them. we did get the sleeping bag and she loves that too.

I saw those outfits and shoes at my Target a while ago and they were priced at about $10. Were they on sale last week?

I was thinking about getting these for my DD's b-day.

These were clearance tagged at 4.98. I didnt care much for the outfits but felt it was a good deal so that she would have a few outfits when she got the doll. Hopefully it will work out well. We have a few buildabears but no 18 inch dolls yet. I had seen on another thread a comment about ag shoes not fitting MGD or something and worried especially over the shoes. This is a surprise birthday trip. She has probably overheard me talking but I dont think she knows when or about what all we are doing on her birthday....Getting Nails done at GF, Princess Tea, 1900 park fare Dinner, AAA story time. We werent even sure we'd go to the park that day but I guess we will for the story time...Have to figure out a way to find some butterflies though. I was going to go over to AK for that so I'll have to decide about that or the story time.

We got the outfits for $4.98 and they are a little tight on our AG. One out of the three will not fit but the other two do. It looks really strange to see Samantha and Felicity in modern clothes.

Are your AG dolls older? I read somewhere that they have "slimmed" down when the company changed hands. I have the MDG dolls and would love to find those shoes and outfits. Off to Tar Jay this week.

No, our AG dolls are from last Christmas and this Christmas. Like I said one of the outfits was tight but the others fit okay. There were 3 different ones and the shoes, which DD did not want, she said they were ugly!

Ok then, my DD has an AG today doll, a target mgd, and the disney princess tea doll. She does interchange all the outfits, some things are fit, some are tight, she seems to have more problems with the shoes. She got mgd accessories this past holiday, and uses them on all her dolls.

Even the newer AG dolls (Mattel) vary from doll to doll because of the amount of stuffing inside their bodies. We have the My Disney Girl doll from the tea and Samantha from AG. I just tried the Sleeping Beauty costume on Samantha and it fits her pretty well. I saw the shoes at Target a while back I thought they looked big for our Disney doll, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm heading out to Target tonight and I'll see if our Target has these on clearance. DD loves dolls of any kind and she loves dressing them in all different outfits. I'm sure she would love to have some extra outfits.

Just got back from Target. Our sets were marked down to $6.98, not $5!
I got the package of shoes because there was only one left. They had about 15 of the outfit packages so I'll watch those a bit longer.

I went to another target today. They had that 6.98 sale too. Glad I saw them at 'my' target first. They also had the sleeping bags and tents for 3.99 each (on sale from 5.99 each). I was looking for more accessories. My Grandmother is a beautician. I read an old thread about this about the salon chair. I was hoping it'd be on sale too. Maybe something for later...or to surpriser her with with grannies birthday money. LOL. On the other hand the toy my son had bought clearanced for 1.42? was on sale for .64 at that target. So odd.

Just back from our Target. The clothing sets were $6.98 and they had a lot of them so I'm holding off. I couldn't find the shoe set. I did buy the tent for $3.99 it looked really cute for that price. Thanks OP!

Both my dd's have these dolls.I wasn't going to pay the price for an American Girl doll, and I found clothes for these dolls last year in the ABC distributing cata. for $9.00 for 5 outfits!

I was able to find one of the outfit packs at our Target today. There were too many shoes to keep track of in that other pack. Thanks! DD will love this! She also has the doll so I know that they will fit great.

I called about an hour ago, they had the dolls but no outfits. The only doll they had was the one with brown hair and green eyes. It was 12.99 and after shipping the total was 21.95.

I wanted to get the shoes at Target but I don't know if they will fit or not.
