Hi everyone.

I need some help! We will be taking our rental car from AS Music back to the airport to catch our shuttle ride to our Disney cruise

We would like to stop somewhere on the way to get some drinks. Is there somewhere convenient we can stop at? Not too far out of the way?

Where I live, Walmart/Target has beer and wine for purchase. is that the case in Florida also? If not, we will need to also find a liquor store.

Thanks for any advice!

There is a target off one of exits not far from Disney property, I don't know exit I'm sorry. There is a walmart off 535 but not towards airport but not that far from Disney either. I bought beer at walmart but had to go outside and into another door/place to get something else alcoholic ( I don't remember what it was). Otherwise publix is a nice grocery store to run into for cruise stuff.

You can buy wine and beer in Walmart in FL....hard liquor you must buy from a liquor store. The closest one to WDW is on the 535...probably a 5 minute drive from the gates.

Does DCL allow you to bring alcohol onboard? Most cruises do not.

Since you are staying at an All-Stars, I would go to the Super Target on HWY 192 near Orange Lake. It's the opposite direction of MCO but you might want to shop there anyway during your stay.

Just head out of ASMu and follow the signs to AKL. Stay in the left lane past AK and take a left at the first light at Sherberth Rd. Take a right on Hwy 192 and continue about 1-2 miles. The Target will be on the left. Probably 15 mins from ASMu.

From ASM you will want to take 417 back to the airport. At Orange Blossom Trail exit #11 off of 417 there is a Super Target. As you exit 417 turn right onto OBT and at the first light turn right into Target.

It is super easy to get into and traffic is a breeze compared to the traffic on 192. Super Target has alcohol. Disney is at exit #4 so the exit for Target is just 7 miles from where you get on 417. You can't miss it you can see Target from 417. Then hop back on to 417 which is a straight shot to the airport. Can't get any easier. This is the Target I always stop at on our way to Disney.

Here is a link to a map for you

YES Disney cruise line does allow alcohol to be brought on board but on in your carry on luggage. We have done it before

I don't think you can bring hard liquor on board DCL. When I went, we each brought one bottle of wine. I think that was all that was allowed.
I don't remember the policy for soft drinks and bottled water.

Now you can bring on any beverages you like. Theyjust have to be carried on.
