Target toy clearance?

When does Target start the toy clearance sales, or have they already begun? I don't have one locally, but I might make a special trip if I knew when to schedule it. I could have sworn it was around July of last year when everyone was posting their amazing Target toy finds.....

I think 75% off comes the last week of July or the beginning of August. They do start marking things down before that but most of the merchandise doesn't move because everyone waits for the big markdown. If there is something specific you are looking for I would keep an eye out soon for the 30% markdown and if it something really good I'd grab it now. I always miss the Lego sets because they all sell out at 30%

i was there today & the 30% has started...some stuff was 50%...ours had great sets of littlest pet shop

I've never seen big summer sales before, but our Target has gone way donw hill anymore. They keep taking stuff off the shelf that I like. Last shopping trip I couldn;t find the majority of the stuff I buy monthly there, so I vowed we will go to Walmart or Meijers from now on since they don't carry anything....they even took pullups out of the store? Whats up with that?
