Target toy clearance

I was there last night and got a mickey stuffed doll for $4, but it looked like everything was 30% off. I have to stay away from Target though...too many sales and I'm too tempted to spend money on things I don't need.

I went to 3 targets today. The first one was 30% off. I was really sad and almost didn't go to another one but I was meeting a friend near that one so I decided to stop by. JACKPOT! No one was there. I got both items my older kids wanted for the baby for his birthday. One was 75% ($9.99) the other was only 50% and it might go back I haven't decided. I got a Step 2 easel for $7 & a workbench. Some Thomas sets that will either be gifts or I will give to the baby next Christmas.

I got TONS of magnetix kits for birthday gifts. Because of the baby I won't let my children have them. I got $50 kit's for $12 and a bunch of others for $3.

The 3rd Target didn't have much but I got Disney channel monopoly for $2.50, again for gifts. I got LPS mall $12.99 (75%). HSM3 board games for $5 (75%).

Now I just have to sort thru it all and see what I'm keeping.

Wish I could go but since being laid off don't really have the extra money to spend...Isn't there usually another big clearance on toys toward the end of Summer??:confused3

Yes the do another one sometime in the summer. It's not usually quite as big, but you can still get great deals!

My Target had things marked 30, 50 and 75 percent off. I picked up a few things for the kids' classmate birthday party gift stash:

Girl Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwich Maker $3.24
Transformer $3.74
Nerf Cosmic Catch $4.98 (DS saw this and REAAAALLY wanted it, might have to put one of them away for his bday next month)

I also got these for DS's bday:

Magnetix dynamix set $6.24 (Hope these 'new and improved' kits are compatible with last years magnetix!)
Nat'l Geographic Outdoor Kit $4.78

They did have some other Magnetix things, but they weren't 75% off yet. Plus, I saw one bigger Legos set from the Mission to Mars series, but it was only 30% off as well so I passed. 3 birthday party gifts and 4 items for DS's bday for $37. Woohoo! Now, no more clearance toys for me...I think there's still a few things in the boy section of my birthday stash from Target's clearance last year. LOL

Santa go Biscuit for my kid's for Christmas. They love it! Costco had them for $89. I am waiting for them to go 75% off and then I'm getting one for my FIL. He kept saying that was the perfect kind of dog to have. I think it would be so funny so send him one for his birthday!

Usually our local stores are last to markdown, so I don't want to waste a trip...

Our store is usually one the last to mark things down too (or they pack it up and ship it out b/f marking it down:sad1: ) But today they surprised me and marked most of the clearnace toys either 50 or 75% off. There were a few things that stayed 30% but I still scored big!

I went to 3 Targets in Louisville, Ky and the first one is closing on Feb 7th and had their toys at 75% off. I got some Littlest pet Shop stuff, the Crammer thing for my 10 year old, as well as some Speed racer cars. They did have some Legos at that one.

The other 2 had some other stuff but nothing I really wanted. I did get a Tinkerbell and Fairies set for $2.50

I haven't been yet, I'll probably stop in tomorrow. Most were only 30% off last week though, so I'm doubting 75 has came yet.

They really seemed to skip the 50% this year. :confused3 All 3 that I went to today were at 30% as of yesterday. 2 of them were at 50-75% off today.

Be sure to check the actual red tags. All the Targets I went to today had signs that said 30% but the stickers were 75%

any one go to the new seasonal section? A lot of it was already tagged 30%off and it went up after Christmas started to come down.

As of yesterday, Westbury and Farmingdale were still 30 off but Levittown was 75 :cool1:

I went to Henrietta (NY) yesterday and there were tons of toys 75% off - some still at 30% or 50%, but they seemed to be moving things around and I scanned some things and they just hadn't been marked down yet. I was there around 9 am and I'm guessing it was the first day of the markdown.

I didn't notice any extra 30% on clothes as others are mentioning....

If anybody finds a Spike the dinosaur for 75% off. I'd be willing to pay shipping for it. My nephew would die if he got one!

I am from buffalo and the hamburg store had some items 75 off but alot was not marked down yet.
