Target toy clearance

I went this morning and some things were 75% off. I loaded up a cart, and then decided we really didn't need any of it! :rotfl2: So we put it back.

BUT - I did get the Step 2 puppet show theatre for $17!!!! I had looked at this several times at toys r us before xmas, and decided not to spend the money on it.

I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but check departments other than toys. I found the puppet thing in sporting goods :confused3 and there were lots of other mark-downs in that department too! Like cute little tents for kids.

OMG I wanted that puppet theater for my niece SO BAD and was prepared to spent the $100 for easter for it!

My target has NOTHING... barely anything even marked down let alone left:(

Went to my Target today, and got some 75% off toys :cool1: And i also got a 30 dollard hannah montana suitcase for 7 dollars :cheer2: :cheer2: I was pretty excited

I have been waiting all week for "the" toy sale. My DS has been home all week with a cold. Thursday, my sister had to work, so no one to watch him. 9:00 - I couldn't take it anymore - I knew they had marked that stuff down finally. Loaded him up, told him to keep his head foward and loaded that buggy up - here's what I got off the top of my head:

Legos Speed Racer set - 9.xx
Legos Speed Racer set #2 - 14.xx
Moon Sand - 13.xx (probably not so good)
Deluxe potato head set - 9.xx
T-Rex Hot Wheels set - 9.xx
Cranium Family game- 3.xx
Legos 50th Anniversary set with the gold brick - ahhhhhhh! - 9.xx
Magnetx gears - 6.xx
Magnetx set - 9.xx
Misc cars from speed racer, cars, etc. - 1.xx - 4.xx

Spent $115 for over $400 retail. DH shook his head until I showed him how much it was retail on the Legos sets alone and then he was proud! Birthday, some Easter, and maybe some Christmas is done.

P.S. Sweet boy wasn't so sick that he couldn't be out for an hour - just kind of croupy coughing due to his reactive airway disease that requires additional nebulized breathing treatments. You know, the cough that gets you the stink eye, sick or not.

Holiday Hannah Montana $7.48
Gaming Ottoman (to put Wii games in) $14.98 in housewares
Iron Man figures $2.64
HSM 3 game $4.98
Horton Heres a Who game $4.98
Indiana Jones plush things $2.74
Indiana Jones whip $4.98 (ds has been eyeing this)

Check out the kids clothes too. I found a navy and a white ultimate ss t-shirt for $1.24 and a ls shirt for $2.74 in the boys 30% section that were actually 75% off.

Okay, I am going nuts.
Our Target simply has not budged from 30% off.:crowded:

They'll probably do it over the weekend, when I cannot get there.

I am about ready to print this whole long thread and take it over to Target and show the employees how the other Targets have the better sales. LOL!

No, I'm joking. I'd never give up our "source". They'd have to kill me first before I let them know that we are watching:smokin: them. LOL!

I have gone four times this week waiting for it to go 75! And apparently they are doing the toys in spurts! AARRRGGGHHH!! But I did score a few nice deals today. Heres my list:
Littlest Pet Shop advent calendar: 3.24
Littlest Pet Shop Pencil Case with miniature Pet Shop animals 4.97
Sleeping Beauty Dress 7.48 (this was only half off but it kept DD busy while I loaded the cart!)
dress up shoes 3.24
Air Hogs helicopter (for DH next Christmas!) 9.98
3 backpacks that come with sleeping bag, flashlight, and water bottle @ 2.98 each
Little People Discovery Airport 8.24
Mr. Potato Head case with accessories and extra potato 4.24
Little Einsteins June dancing Ballerina 5.48
3 TAG books for my DD's new TAG pen @3.48 each
Cranium brand memory game 1.98

I guess I will be going back next Thursday and am keeping my fingers crossed that they still have the V Motion console and will have it at 75 off. And maybe by then the Smores pony will be 75 off because my Target had about 6 of these!

BTW for those of you who may be interested , in the sporting goods dept. my Target had the Air Hockey tables, Fooseball tables and one that was 16 in 1 games for 75 off.

Good luck everyone!

Signs at my Target said 30-50% off. The isles were a mess and they were moving things all around. No lego sets that I saw but I did get a Didj and game set for $22.XX for DS. This was actually 75% off so the signs are not always correct.

Must.....stop......reading......

Oh man, you guys are killing me.

The toys I'm eyeing:

Littlest Pet Shop
Little People airport
Mr. Potato Head
Sleeping Beauty
Princess barbies (that is amazing deal, I wonder if anyone bought it at full price of $50+?)

I saw the towels on an endcap but they were 30% also.

Now I got to wondering if our store had a team come in and do the markdowns. It seems that when these clearances occur that our store has tons & tons of employees all busy working, either re-arranging the shelves/end caps or doing markdowns, etc. Maybe we share a markdown team with another store.

I DID!!!! I bought them for $60.00, then they went on sale for $50.00. It was too late for a price adjustment so I bought them for $50 and returned the $60.00 ones (actually, I just walked out the doors and walked back in with my first receipt in hand.) But then I returned the $50.00 ones as well! I just couldn't justify how expensive they were!

I went to today...some things are 75% off, most things are still 50%. I got this though, was thrilled since I almost bought it at full price for xmas. I already assembled it and DD loves it (as does DS who is 10! ha!)

$17.48

I also got the Parents brand cash register, a sleeping beauty pony and a Thomas electronic playset.

Isn't Target fun after Christmas?!?! I found two pink V.smile Cyber Pockets for $14.99! I wanted one for my son and one for my daughter, so I was lucky! ...except for the pink part. If any of you find one of the BLUE ones and would like to trade for a pink one - let me know!

Littlest Pet Shop advent calendar: 3.24

I got two of the Advent calendars for my dd's too and other than the three pets, it didn't really say what was in there, but the pets make it worth it - especially at that price! :cool1: Now I'm debating whether to just give them to the girls now or save for next Christmas....there would have to be nutrition facts or ingredients listed if there was food in it, right?

I don't want to ruin any surprises, but if anyone had/has one and knows if there's any reason NOT to save for next year, could you let me know? thanks!

I scored yesterday and got:
2 Shark Video Rocker Chairs (housewares) $27.48 each (reg. $110)
2 Vtech Vmotion game systems $17.48
Guitar Hero Aerosmith Limited Edition w/ 2 guitars $23!!!
Yo Gabba Gabba Dancing Toy - $8 - reg $34
Hanna Barbie and clothes - $4.84
Sleeping Beauty walking pony - $8

and a bunch of other great stuff! I'm going back today!

went to one of our nearby stores and they had a mix of 30, 50 and 75% off. It was a mess and something things were marked one price but scanned a different price. The Didj Star Wars pack was only 50% (although it was showing 30%). I was hoping it would be at 75%. Rose Petal Stuff was still a mix of 30 and 50%. I will have to check out another couple of stores later this today.

Same here, still tons of stuff. Obviously no one's gonna buy the majority of that stuff unless it's 75% off, so they might as well mark it! We also had the extra 30% off the clothes and I got a few things.

I bought the calendar for my dd. I could not make her wait until next year. She has opened about 1/2 the doors and have not come across any food. She IS having a ball with all the things she has gotten. TOTALLY worth 3 bucks!!!

I was wondering the same thing about the advent calendar. I'm actually thinking of using the LPS one for her birthday and the Barbie one for Christmas. That way I don't give in and give it to her now. I'm always scared to save stuff for too long and the she's not "into it" anymore.

Went back to target today to see if I could find anymore hidden bargains and I was able to get:

Step 2 Puppet Theater $17.98 (reg $69.99)
Step 2 Workbench (small one) $7.98
Plasma Car $13.94 (reg $59.99)

I was really surprised to find the Plasma Car as I have never seen those at Target. It was up on a high shelf with no red sticker. There was still another Puppet Theater up on a high shelf with no red sticker....I was so tempted to buy 2, but DH would have been livid!
