I was in a SE Massachusetts Target store yesterday and all the toys are still 30%... but they are definitely setting up!!!! They had 6 employees rearranging the toy section and filling up 3 aisles with clearance toys.... hoping I catch it just right ligke last year the day they went 75%....

With the market and DH's job bein in mortgages (Just thankful he didn't loose his job) we have noo extra money and it's killing me all these great deals every where on clothes and stuff to help us next year. So the other day I told DH next year we will plan to have extra money put aside for all these Jan. clearance sales.

75% off about 75% of the clearance toys. I have no idea why all toys weren't uniformly discounted .. but they weren't.

in fact, one of the workers was irritated that she had to go through all the toys to discern which were 30% off and which were 75% off, so she marked them all 50% off, instead. Great for the ones that should have been 30% off, but to the ones that should have been 75% off.

I did well. 2 carts full. None for me, though... I bought for an event at my DD's school and for some Burundian refugees settling in the US this month.

I was at Florence Ky Target today and 3 aisles full of toys were still only 30 percent off.

Still 30% in SC. They moved all the clearance toys together, covering about 1 1/2 aisles. I remember buying a bunch of stuff at 75% last year for our schools Valentines Day Bingo, so that would've been late January/early February.

My friend called me to tell me she called one of the Targets by us and they told her they had already marked the toys down 50-75% off. So I called my mom, had her come watch the kids, and I took off. When I got there, only about 3 toys had been marked 50% off and I didn't see anything that was 75% off.

Was at Target this evening. The 2 toy clearance aisles have signs on them that say 30%, but there was a guy there putting labels on stuff. I got 2 Disney Princess sets for $14.98 each. They were originally $59.99. So the signs may say 30% but its really 75% off!

Wow! How do you know that? I was shocked today when I stopped in and saw that they were still only 30% off! I guess I will be going back tomorrow to look for the 75% signs.

This afternoon (around 4:30) things at the Target I went to were still scanning @ 30%. I'm going out as soon as I get the kids to school. I have 3-4 Targets to hit! I've scoped out 2 and they both have different things I want!

Was at the McCalla, AL Target tonight. Both the signs and stickers still said 30%. I'm (im)patiently waiting!!!

It's snowing a lot here so I don't know that I'll make it out to check..today is Thursday though, toy markdown day! I don't NEED another toy, but it's so tempting!
