Target toy clearance

i LOVE this time of year...partly because it is one of the few times throughout the year that target has it's big toy sale!?!!??

historically it is during this sale that i get the bulk of my toys for the year (bday's,donations,xmas) done.

was there today, and saw lots and lots at 30% off, anyone interested in waiting and watching with me???

Oh yes! I am all over the Target toy clearance. I discovered it a few years ago when my kids were 1 and 3 years and now I don't know what we would do without it! I get my stash of gifts for the year to come as well!

Any updates on when they go more that 30% off would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in! This is how I get the bulk of the things I donate for my kids school auction. My gift closet is starting to look a little scimpy too, so bring it on Target.

I just asked about when this sale would be starting. Budget's tight right now (trying to get back on track after the holidays) so I'll need to wait until it's more than 30% off.

The Target clearances were tons more fun when the boys were younger. They are now going to be 15 and 14.
DD will be turning 7. Last year she got a ton of gifts for such little money. I love the toy clearance sales.

I'm in I hit Target Toy sale this January and had gifts all year for DGS to give as gifts at parties !! Also anxious for their 90% off Christmas stuff sale !!

I got tons of stuff last year at the 90% off sale I can't remember when it was though. And I'm afraid I will be at work when it goes 90% this time, I just started back to work and last year I was there about 8:30 and I was putting stuff into my buggy as they marked it and within an hour the toy section was covered up with people and they wiped it all out

I love Target clearance. My friends and I watch for 75% off their toy section like hawks!! We load up for bday gifts for our kids and their friends. Also watching for Old Navy's January 75% additional off the already clearance prices sale!

I went to my local Target today.

The toy section had 2-3 rows of toys at 30% off and the rest of the entire section was completely EMPTY. I think they pulled off all the unsold toys and sent them somewhere else (liquidators?) because no way they sold out of EVERYTHING.

The Christmas stuff was 50% but there was not much left. I couldn't even find any wrapping paper.

Oh well...

Last year I asked a Target employee and she said they ship certain things to certain stores depending on what sells better there. I was waiting on something that was 30% off but there was like 40 of them, so I thought for sure I'd be able to snap them up at 50% but most likely 70%. Darn if they weren't all gone 2 days later. bummer! I was gonna use them for kids' friends b-day gifts for the whole year!

The one thing I'm eyeing is the Step 2 puppet theater, it's 30% off right now and DD would love it for her 2nd bday in April. I'm still stocked up on toys I got 75% off at the July toy clearance!!

My target was wiped out of everything! The Xmas stuff is nearly gone, and there were nothing but junky toys in the 30% off clearance section! I'm so disappointed because my DS's 1st bday is January 18th and I thought I could stock up...

I was surprised my Target did not have a row of clearance yet and very little was marked 30% off. I am hoping they just haven't gotten to it yet. Usually they have so much! Anyone check their receipt from last year to know when the toy sale was?

Hope you all don't mind me jumping in here! I hit this last year and got a TON of stuff - I actually still have my receipt, and it is dated 1/10/08. So maybe sometime this week?? Any target employees out there who can tell us?
