Target Store?

We are heading to DLR tomorrow and my son really wants to visit a Target store (we don't have in Canada) so was wondering whether there is one close by and the best way to get there without a vehicle?

Sorry, there is a Target on Harbor, but way too far to walk, if you are in the DLR. But, not knowing your hotel can not say for sure.

Yeah we stayed at Hojo's and it took about 3 hours for my Brothers-in-law to walk there and back for a chess board to play on SM. BUT, it only takes about 15 min by bus. I am sure they can help you at your hotel.

Try and eat at In and Out burger while you are here too. They are great! Your ketchup chips you guys have are the best!!

We stayed in Homewood Suites Garden Grove which is opposite a Target. The ART from DL goes to Homewood, about 5 minutes away.

I believe there is another Target in the area, but I don't know how to get there.

They super glued all the pieces, except for 2, to the board. They put the whole thing in a backpack and pulled it out once the ride started. They looked like they were playing when the on-ride picture was taken...crazy.

WOW That sure is... ...imaginative....lol. I hope you have a copy of the photo!

I think the Target is about 3 or so miles from DLR, but it is quite a walk...You might be able to grab a cab and then call for a pick up. We have stopped at the Target on Harbor, but we had a relative with a car meet us and take us out there.

It actually shows where target is and what hotels are across the street. Actually the Crowne Plaza Garden Grove is right across the street but it doesn't show that they stop there.

Yes, there's a nicer, newer Target at Lincoln and Euclid, and that's not too much farther from DLR (2.5 miles), but no direct bus there, so you'd need a taxi if you don't have a rental car.

the Target is right across the street from Red Robin, Joe's & the Outback. Crowne Plaza is right across the street from Target too. If you won't have a car take a taxi.

We walked there !!! Took about 30 minutes I guess - prime reason was to go to the 99c store next door - that was a mistake !

But yeah 30 minutes will get you there - we caught the bus back

Thanks for asking this question! I was wondering about a Target too!! Are either of the two Targets mentioned a Super Target??

We were actually talking about this in another thread. The closest Super Target is 40+ miles away, but one poster said that the Target on Euclid is getting an expanded grocery section.

It does have groceries, but it's not a SuperTarget. Nice newish store, we like it.
