Target Savings Thread

On the one coupon per transaction thing:

Isn't each item a transaction? So, you can only use one coupon per item/transaction?

I have a favor to ask. If anyone received the book of Target coupons in the mail and has the Up and Up Formula Coupon that they aren't going to use, would they mind sending it to me...I have a newborn that is eating me out of house and home!

If there are any coupons you would like, let me know! If I still have them, I will send them to you!

No. Each item is a purchase. Transaction is any number of items run through and paid for in one payment.

So to use multiple coupons that say one per transaction you must buy one time, pay for it start over, buy one item pay for it and start over and keep going. It's a pain.

Wow, that is a pain. They want you to pick only one item in your entire basket to coupon. Hmm, I think I would ring up and pay for everything seperately if they tried to do that with me.

I am pretty sure I have it. PM your address and I will mail it out to you.

It's one per type per transaction. So you can have 1 target coupon for $1/1 cleaner and .50/1 chip and .75/1 box of oatmeal for example but you can't have 3 coupons for .75/1 oatmeal in the same transaction. Does that help?

Yup, makes more sense now. They don't want you buying 8 boxes of oatmeal with 8 coupons. If I felt that I had to have 8 boxes, I guess I would just have to buy them separately.

Thanks!

For anyone whose store didn't mark down the Wii Aerosmith guitar hero 75% ($37.48) check your store again and look behind all the regular priced guitar hero boxes. I found one and used the $5 coupon and got it for $32.48

None of those "large" games got marked down at any point in our area. I've check all 3 stores

Sorry to just jump in here but I am an avid coupon shopper and almost always have multiple coupons for the same item. I have never had a problem buying multiple items at Target with multiple coupons for that item.

I once got 7 bottles of Gilette men's body wash for free whem they were $2 and I had seven $2 off coupons.

I belong to grocerygame.com and I've learned to shop this way. I save TONS of money!

If I've followed the thought process here correctly (which I think I have ;)), I believe that they (meaning posters to this thread) are reporting about the Target Internet printable coupons being limited to one per transaction and not the manu coupons. Target gets reimbursed for the manu coupons so to this point it does not appear that Target is putting limits on these at this time. But it appears based on earlier posts that some Targets are starting to put limits on how many of their own IP coupons they are allowing a customer to use at one time. Does that make sense?

4 days ago my Target had the Star Wars Leapsters marked down to 19.99. These were the ones also packaged with the jedi math game.
They had like at least 20 still, so maybe that is why. I know when they were (was it 36-ish?) I bet there was at least 50 on an endcap so we had a lot to start out with.

I bought this for my 5 year old and we tried it out yesterday on a plane ride. I thought it was pretty clunky. I may end up returning the 2nd one I bought. The Star Wars game (and the two games that are included in the handheld memory) are not very fun compared to "real" video games. I thought some of the questions were not at the right age level, even at the easy setting. Also the controls were sluggish, ie, you'd push the button but it wouldn't really respond quickly. I tried out all the games before I let him play it so I could help him out when he got stuck and it did not seem like it was a lot of fun. I'll be surprised if it holds his attention longer than it takes for the flights on this vacation. Right now, it's still somewhat of a novelty just to get a new video game toy. I won't be buying any other games to go with it.

it just varies by Target. The Target closest to me doesn't care how many coupons you use, they are glad for the business. The next closest Target, has a policy of one coupon per item. It really varies by store.

did anyone take advantage of the buy select disney movie and receive voucher for ticket to the new movie "UP". I bought Ratatouille today but it didn't have the website that I need to get the voucher. I called Target and the lady said that some of the movies had a sticker with the info needed but it is under the plastic so she wasn't able to tell me what it was. Does anyone know what the website is? Thanks!! :thumbsup2

Yes that's what I meant. The target printables do say one per transaction. It depends on the store if it's enforced. Manufacturer coupons are not limited.

Only "specially marked" packages are included in this offer. We had to look through a stack to find the ones that had the sticker. The website is something like Hollywood Movie Money but there is a code on the sticker that you need. I bought Nemo and Cars the other day and used our Up tickets today. The movie is awesome! :thumbsup2 I hope you can get this straightened out so you can get your ticket!

Does anyone know what movies have the certificate/codes on them? Our son really wants Wall-e. I guess I just need to go to the store and see. It's just that when I go to Target or Walmart, I always leave with more than I had planned! :confused3 Especially now that summer vacation is here and I will have "helpers" with me.
Does anyone know of any coupons or special for Disney movies?
Thanks for all you help!!!
