I just wanted to check really quick - I think I just threw out a receipt to something I need to return - can they look it up by my credit card if I don't have the receipt?

I was just at target yesterday. I had 4 items without receipts, but were older than 90 days. They say they only keep the credit card info for that period. No big deal, I just wanted a store credit. Nope. There rule only 2 returns per twelve month period without receipt!

So my husband will have to take the other two back at a different time....
