Target Red Debit Card or Disney Visa

I'm working on a budget for my 2018 trip. I have a Disney Visa and I have been reading about the 5% off gc's...Anyone use these together for an advantage? I'm not sure how I could make it work. It would be nice if you could use the gift cards to pay the visa balance but I don't think that's allowed TIA!

I think you only get the 5% at target by using it as the payment form, so you won't get the points on your dis visa.... you could use your dis visa at sams club,get 5% off,and still get the points on your cc tho.
