Target red card for 10% discount ???

I know Target just offered 10% off Target gift cards for the last 2 days.

I seem to remember sometime last year they offered a 10% off deal that included DISNEY gift cards. Am I wrong or do I remember correctly?
If correct, is this an annal sale? When does it usually occur?
We are planning an extended family trip for late next year. I have stated to save for the trip and would like to purchase as many discounted gift cards as possible.

I don't recall Target offering 10% off on Disney gift cards. Several years ago, I was able to purchase Target gc @ 10% off and then use those gift cards to purchase Disney gc. Unfortunately, you can't use a gc to purchase a gc anymore.

I think the last time Target did the 10% off for Disney gift cards was 2019. I'm a devout Target shopper, so I check every week, hoping it will return!

As far as I know it is only for TARGET gift cards. They have a big display in the store. We got one yesterday, although it took 10 minutes for the staff to get the computer to give us the 10% discount. What a mess.

Only Target gift cards were on sale for 10% off. Limit of $500 on Target gift cards. Disney is 5% off when purchasing using Target red card.

I don't think they ever offered 10% off third party giftcards. Even when they offer a special Red Card 10% discount on purchases, they exclude third party gift cards.

I noticed on Black Friday that I received an extra 5% off from Circle on top of my everyday 5% off on the RedCard because it was within 30 days of my birthday. I did not buy any gift cards that day but wonder if it would have applied.

I was hopeful but unfortunately I didn't have success using the 5% birthday reward on Disney gift cards when I tried to order in the Target app this morning.

Target Reloadable Gift Card - Just Don't!!! A recent addition to the Target Red Card family was a reloadable card. Not a credit card or debit card linked to a bank account this card required either bank transfers or adding cash to the card at a Target store. After being available for over a month now, no Target locations in my area have installed software or procedures for the use of this card, and don't know when or IF they will. With no 5% discount, I can shop elsewhere for gift cards for less. It also means I have little reason to visit Target at all since it is a much longer drive to reach a location.

It would not have. I tried it on my birthday month.
