Target question about getting the $10 gc after you spend $100...

if I am buying a few hundred dollars....can I divide up my purchases into more than one transaction to get more than one gift card?

I've added my totals and its almost $350. 3 $10 gift cards is better than 1.

nope it says one per person- so if you drag 2 people along with you it would work

Kind of cheating, but here's what I did last year and what I plan to do this year.

Got my first load of gotta get it quick stuff went thru the line got my first GC.

Went to the car with the first load, locked it in and back to the store, got my second load, early bird stuff, like toys but not blow outs, went to different register, got my second GC.

Took second load to car locked it into car and went back to car for third load - this time I was getting the whole week sale stuff including some grocery items (we were out of coffee ). Got that stuff, went thru a third register, got a third GC.

Went to car with third load and took my GCs home to use for later.

This year I will also see if I can hand over my coupon for $15 GC with $150 purchase so I can get $25 in GC or if that's excluded on the $10 GC deal.

Last year my cashier instructed me to break mine up to get the gcs, so YMMV.
