I did see the Elmo head at my store in Mich. I also got some Jelly Belly dispensers filled with the smoothie flavoured JB's for $1. They also had some really cute little purses filled with Jelly Belly's for $2. They would make great party favors.

I didn't get any easter stuff...........but I did get my dd 2 skirts, and 2 tops........each piece was $4........so $16 total for all of it.........and the pieces are spring/summer, looks like new this season, I was surprised to find it on clearance already.

Did Target have any of the Elmo head Easter Baskets left? I didn't get DS10months anything for Easter but thought if they still had those on clearance I would grab one for him to put toys in.

Very slim pickings at CVS today so I ventured up to Target. Did see the cute Elmo head baskets there @ 50% off -- let me know if you need me to pick it up for you -- but no clothing (loved the previous poster's princess shirt idea) and actually very little candy. Spent $9.50 cash (oh, so wish I could use CVS ECBs instead ). Here's what I bought:

1 pretty pink 5x7 picture frame for DD, $2.50
6 bags of individually wrapped Teddy Graham Cookies (18 indiv.servings), $1.39 + I used the acupfull on-line $1 off 2 Nabisco coupon, so $0.89 each.
DD10 and DS10 will love snacking on these when we're at WDW in May and they are small so I'll just toss in my bag.

This isn't Easter markdown, but the goldfish crackers are on sale and there's also a $1 off 2 Pepperidge Farm acupfull coupon; got 2 regular-sized packages of non-Easter goldfish crackers (DD and DS remember when we stayed concierge some years ago and they had goldfish crackers there, so I'll also bring these so they can snack in the room): On sale $1.33/package less $0.50.

Just back from my lunch break target run...still 50% at my store in CT...

They did have Elmo head baskets left!

I got matching capri/tshirt outfits for my nieces. They have infant to toddler sizes (12mo to 5T). Regular price for the shirt was $3.99 and for the capris was $5.99 so $9.98 for the outfit and I got *2* whole outfits for that price! Plus a couple of the previously mentioned girls t-shirts with flowers/sparkles on them...regularly $3.99 for $1.98. *Note, the clothes were IN the Easter section with the candy, etc...NOT in the girls/toddler clothing area.

Also got a couple of things for next year's Easter basket for ds...a little Spiderman figure and an Easter Egg shaped magna doodle...both were $2.50 I think.

So will it go to 75% off tomorrow do you think? I have the morning off, so I might just pop in there to see what's left. I'm hoping it will be 75% off starting tomorrow. Last year I bought about 6 prefilled baskets and took the stuff out of them for the kids. They played with the toys all summer long. Since their birthdays are in December, it was nice to be able to let them have new toys in the summer. I did notice that Target did not get in as many prefilled baskets as last year - maybe they have figured it out that nobody was buying them full price. I'll let you know tomorrow how I make out.

I was at the Target near me today. It's at 50% discount and there's not much left.

They had tons of Easter baskets left and did have some already made baskets left.
The candy was all gone, most of the basket stuffers were gone.
I was glad I went there for more than just Easter bargains.

I stocked up (with the towns money!) for next years Easter egg hunt. We had 2500 eggs this year and it wasn't nearly enough, and we spent $300 on them.

Today I got 3780 eggs (need about 220 more ideally!) for under $100!!! Spent $50 on bigger prizes for the games, lots of sidewalk chalk, coloring books, playskool eggs for the young ones, stuffed bunnies and other small games!

The workers at Target saw the 3 carts FULL of eggs as I as wandering the isles looking at the rest of the stuff and you hear one girl go "OH CARP...where did this come from???" The other girl who watched me load the cart goes to me "It's hers...don't touch it...she's buying them ALL...THANK GOD!" The cashiers were not as happy lol.

ETA: MY target said 75% will be Thursday at the earliest, but probably not until Friday. I asked because I said I would be coming back for the rest of the eggs when it went to 75% LOL

I just found the chart with the days of markdowns and apparently the Easter stuff won't be 75% until Thursday.

I'm resisting looking until at least 75%. The kids haven't even touched a few of the items in their baskets that I got from last year's clearance. I think next year they will each get 1 $8 toy, chocolate bunny & some gum. Maybe stuffed animals if I find them clearanced enough.

And the last minute Easter dress I bought for DD, she refused to wear so I returned it & saved the $20.

IF anyone is still looking for candy, I've been to 2 Walgreen's checking on a certain Brach's jelly bean & they still had a decent selection this morning -50%.

Our Target was 75% Off today in Upstate/Central New York. I didn't really HAVE to have anything though so I resisted. LOL But my store still had lots of stuff except for candy.

I was up bright and early on Monday morning and at my Target by 8:00 am. I was searching for Littlest Pet Shop items for DD's birthday party. I found two of the baskets with pets in them for 50% off!

I also ended up buying wire baskets that look like a basketball hoop for my DS's birthday party. He loves basketball! Than I found the fillable basketballs for $.99 a pack.

Last night I went again and found packs of Littlest Pet Shop fillable containers for just $.99! They weren't there on Monday morning. I guess they found a case of them in the stockroom! YEAH!

I just called our Target and they are still at 50% off. I was hoping for 75% off today.

Oh boy! I'm going to go today. I got some good stuff the other day for 50% off (Cadbury Caramel eggs, egg dye kit for next year). I saw some cute eggs with Dora and Diego trucks in them, but I decided to wait for 75% off for those (there were quite a few of them left). I took a risk, we'll see if it pays off! If not, no big loss. They were overpriced to begin with!
