Target online at 3 am

After staying up until midnight hoping Target would start their BF/Thanksgiving Day sales online, I checked my email and found that the Brad's Deals website had helpfully compiled a list of when sales start online. So Target is supposed to start at 3 am EST so I'm off to bed for a few hours and then will try at 3 to order two ipad minis to for $299 plus a $75 gift card. With a Red Card discount of $15 this is almost as cheap as the Walmart deal and I don't have to go to Walmart on Thanksgiving. (Walmart is sold out of ipad minis online but as of right now Target has them in stock.) I'd rather have the Target gift cards anyway, and I like their protection plans because they cover accidental damage.

Wish me luck! I'm guessing not a lot of other people on this board are night owls like me but hopefully this info will help someone!

Hmmm, Isis two different orders for each iPad and got two different totals! I was charged tax on one and not the other.

I went online at 4am to try to order the IPAD air. Not available. So I decided to purchase the IPAD 2 also with the $100 gift card. I chose the black one and went to the cart to check out. Under the "other items customers viewed" was a IPAD mini in space grey. I clicked on that and on the webpage the "add to cart" was there. I purchased two at $299 and hopefully it won't be cancelled. YMMV but you can try that route.

A few weeks ago I traded in my original iPad and received a $200 gift card, which I was told could be used online. I tried to use this to purchase the new iPad, but could not figure it out. Registered the card. Tried calling the card's customer service. Tried to print out the directions how to use card online. Nonetheless, I couldn't get it to work!! I paid for the new iPad with my Redcard. Once I receive the iPad, can I bring it to Target store and have them apply the gift card and refund my Redcard $200?

They've never let me use a gift card to pay down my red card. That said, I would still go and explain the situation to see if they will do anything.

Can I ask: how do you get the $100 gift card when you ordered online? I can't tell if I got it or not. I can't find any way to pull it up so I can use it, it just says "test" and mentions gc's normally arrive in email within 4 hours. So was it part of my purchase confirmation email or not? I was hoping to use it today. Thanks.

ETA: never mind! Someone mentioned on another thread that she thought she'd read that the gift card doesn't activate until the item ships

Using the electronics trade-in card online is tricky. It actually has to be input as a credit card, but since you can't use two credit cards for a transaction (to pay for the balance), you have to first buy a gift card to cover the balance. Then you would apply the gift card and use the trade-in card as a credit card. I had to call the phone number on the trade-in receipt, and the CS rep emailed me instructions. I'm not sure if they'll apply the trade-in card retroactively in store, but it can't hurt to try.

I have only received 1 out of the 3 email gift cards I'm supposed to get. I think a lot of people have not received all their gift cards yet based on comments on other threads.
