Target is Evil

I have only been to Target once. I went with my sister. I did not have anything on my list. I spent $300. I am now self-banned from Target for life.

Blasphemy! How dare you defame the Supreme Being of Retailers! Target shows me the way to material gain! All hail Target! :worship:

Maybe WE are the targets.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

That is so funny but now that's what I'm going to think of every time I go near there! Maybe it will have some anti-subliminal affect and I will only pay a $50 cover charge.

More often than not I walk out of Target empty handed. Not sure why. I just don't buy stuff in there. Women's plus size dept SUCKS!!!! Do they even have one?

Now, Walmart.....we call the $100 CLUB!

As a mom I've pretty much given up on going to the spa or any other place of relaxation. Instead I've got Target! When the cashier asks, "Did you find everything alright?" I'm thinking "yeah, everything I wanted, didn't need, thought I'd try, felt I couldn't resist, and everything else I'd be a fool to pass by." :teeth:

Target is my Happy Place.....

$107 yesterday. The items I went in for were $6 each, for three. But I *needed* that other $89 worth of stuff... Because Russ may already have a ride-on airplane, but he doesn't have a MICKEY ride-on airplane. Oh, wait, that was only $30. Where did that other $59 go??

I had a shocking experience at Target last weekend: I was able to walk out of there after only spending $3.64!!! I was in shok. Sadly, I'm sure my total will never be that low again, lol

I went to Target at lunch to buy a can of formula and a pack of diapers.

I spent $97.00!!!!!!

:confused3

It's a spell...they mist something in the air, or something...

Ahh, yes, this happens to me all of the time. And I usually spend the 100 bucks and come home having forgotten to get the formula and the diapers.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Though today it was walmart, and the PIRA bars were only $0.10 a piece. *chuckles* I got off easy at $37.00.

You DON'T EVEN want to know how much I spent there last week.....

Right after Christmas they tore ours down (1 mile away). They are rebuilding but it will not open till October 8. It's great for the pocketbook, but I read the ad longingly each week to see if I can justify the 15 minute drive to the next closest one...

Can you believe I just made it out from Target for under $30. I think that was the first time ever. And I think the only reason it happened was because I was hungry and couldn't concentrate on my shopping.

So yours isn't a Super Target? :woohoo:

My DH has a saying. Keep it under a hundred. I normally do, give or take $10.

I do the same thing with Bannanas. I go into a food store for bannanas, and come out with $40 of other things. A few times a week.

I buy bananas at Target usually so it's even worse. ;)

Tonight I got stubborn and went to a real grocery store. I spent a lot less but it wasn't fun at all. :(

Other shoppers? This grocery store was deserted. I think that everyone was at Target and Wal-Mart. :confused3

Funny that your 3 year old wanted to go to Target. My son has always loved Target as much as his Mom. :teeth:

My son has been taught well.....his favorite stores are Target and Old Navy (he always gets to "ride" in the old truck). :teeth:

ONE time I walked in, picked up the ONE item I went for, went to the register and left. DD thought I was seriously ill!

My Target seems to have 2 cover charges - some days it's $60, other days it's $100, but you never know which one until you get to the register. And I have a regular Target and a Super Target within 3 miles of my house...
