I know there were a couple of us wanting to use our RAISE target gift cards..... I just bought 2 more!! :thumbsup2

Thank you :)

If you don't mind me asking ~ have you had any issues with Raise? I'm hearing more about it and in theory it makes me nervous but I'd love to save a few more dollars!

I heard about it on here a couple of weeks ago. I tried ONE to start with because I was also skeptical. However...it went through on the Target site with no issues and my red debit card took the 5% off. Since then....I have done 4 more.... and they all work.. :thumbsup2 The gift cards from Target arrive in a few day and I even checked them to make sure they were activated. ALL WAS PERFECT. I am going to KEEP doing this every month..... to save for our next year's summer trip. We are leaving in 2 weeks so I am not buying anymore until we return. I had purchased a few at Target prior to learning about the RAISE site but now I see no reason to do that anymore.

That's the exact message I'm getting when trying to buy 2 Disney Cards. There isn't even a cart number listed. I'm wondering if they're out of stock already. :scratchin

Yay! I just bought another one! Now to stalk raise for good deals!

For the PP asking about issues with raise... I had one gift card that I bought and then when I went to use it didn't have a balance. I checked on Target's site and it had been used in Cali (I am on east coast) just after I bought it. Sent a screen shot to raise and they refunded my money right away. They really have great customer service.

I had that happen twice yesterday. I used a different browser and it worked. Try logging in and out again.

I love that SITE. I have gotten 5 from them.... so I ended up paying 229.79 for 250 in Disney gift cards!!:thumbsup2
12.50 of that was red card savings....the rest from Raise. Every little bit helps.

Thanks to both of you. I'm all about, "it all adds up" - trust me :) I just get a little nervous with it feeling like I don't have control over it but good to know they have good service.

I'm confused....
250 - 22.50 = 227.50
how did you wind up paying MORE than what the target discount gave you?

;) TYPO SORRY!! Should have read 12.50 NOT 22.50 and the rest was RAISE savings. I paid 229.79 total and got five 50 buck gift cards.

What's the normal percentage you guys see as the discount on Raise? I just bought $190.36 worth of cards for $182.74 and turned around and bought $200 worth of disney cards from target (5% red card discount). Have like $0.30ish left. That was 4% off on the target cards through Raise. Does it get much higher than that?

4% is a good percent off. If I stalk the site (checking an obsessive number of times a day) I can find some at 5% or higher off. I have only gotten a handful at higher than 5% off, and they are usually for less than $50.

I am hoping to have the full amount for my package in a Disney Savings Account to earn the extra 2% back through that, so I am being pretty obsessive about it. This is our dream trip (last one was a bit of a bust), so I am doing everything I can to be able to afford it.

Awesome, thanks, I will keep checking. And I hope your dream trip is everything you are hoping for!!!

I think I remember reading somewhere about an extra discount for your first Raise purchase? Does anyone know anything about that, or did I dream it?

Never mind! Found it! Use promo code MYRAISE for $5 off a $60 purchase - new customers only.

Oh bummer. Guess I should have looked for something like that before making my first purchase today.

Don't forget to shop through a cash back program like e bates (extra 1%) and to use a cash back credit card when buying your target gift cards through raise (1-1.5%). I also just went through e bates before checking out through target (not sure if it will work since its a gc) but it works through raise so we'll see!

If you want the 5% Target REDCard discount, you cannot use a cash-back credit card to pay for the purchase. You have to use your Target credit (or debit) card.
