I thought I'd drop in there to see what they have even though our trip isn't for 1 1/2 more years and I got a ton of good stuff in the dollar section so I thought I'd share:

Glow Necklaces (green 2 per pack)
Glow Sticks (green)
Mini Fans
Invisible Ink Activity Books
Splinter kit
Bug Bite & Burn kits
Mini First Aid Kits
Self Cooling Ice pack (they also had heat packs)

My husband is going to laugh at me but I am so organized and I dont want to panic last minute that I dont have something. :) Hope that helps someone :)

 I picked up 2 of each myself yesterday. The only one you forgot to mention was the mini flashlights car and plane.

oooh I didn't get those but they could be good for the hotel room!! back to Target I go :p

Thanks Preshi. I hope they still have some left when I go tomorrow.

By the way, my 5 y/o thinks it is so cool you have a picture of Sheen!

Also That's a really good buy just in time for 4th of July nightime festivities

I also went the other night and got a bunch of rain ponchos, vechicle activity kits plus a bunch of other stuff for our up~coming trip!! Great Deals!!

thanks for the heads up. Got necklaces, glow sticks and they only had kids size ponchos so I picked up 3. I I am thinking I need to go back and get a couple more ponchos.

We are going next May and I am starting to slowly pick up things here and there. Will the glow sticks last that long? I didn't know if they would wear out or something in the pkg even if you didn't open them. Does anyone know?

I picked ours up at the dollar tree last year a couple months ahead of time, and they worked fine the fourth of July. Not sure if they'll last for over a year, though :confused3 I could almost guarantee that you'll be able to find these at this price next year as well, so I would wait - just my opinion :)

Thanks Jennifer - that is kinda what I was thinking too. By the way, one more year of nursing school? That's great! I start clinicals in the fall (done with everything else though!) so I still have awhile to go!

It's a good sale. I told the budget board about it and got flamed for getting a tiny flashlight for my DD if she was scared in a dark ride. I would never use it if it seemed it would bother another guest but I couldn't get that through to the one's flaming me. They have some great stuff so stock up. I think I am going to go and get some more stuff. :thumbsup2

For taking a tiny flashlight on a dark ride? :furious: Like that little flashlight is gonna light up the whole ride and ruin it for everyone else. I'm behind you on this one. Hey, if it is so bad that it ruins your ride, then get back in line and ride it again. That is the most ridiculous thing I have heard of.

Thanks. We're going tomorrow so I just stopped in and picked up a few things. Also stopped by the Disney Store to get some sale items to bring along and surprise the kids with (much cheaper than buying in park)

When we went and my DD was 3, the ride operator on one of the rides gave her one to use :rotfl:

Congrats on starting in the fall :cheer2: It is a wild ride - hardest thing I've ever done - I wish I'd done this BEFORE having a family :sad2: People always ask how I do it - the answer is I have no idea :rotfl: Honestly, though, I don't sleep much :surfweb: since the only time I have for school work is after everyone is in bed, and I have no willpower - many times when I am supposed to be doing schoolwork, I am here at the DIS  :rolleyes1 Best of luck to you :goodvibes

I stocked up on glow necklaces, ponchos...(I bought a lot of stuff). I also found a pack of glow bracelets (in colors, not all green) in the birthday party gift bag section (you know..trinkets for kid parties) I think I got 10 for $2 or so.

I was thinking about the flashlight situation on dark rides...if it is a little pen light type light or teeny keychain light I don't think it would bother others...or if it were colored (say a blue light) I think it would alright. I am sure you don't want to ruin the experience for others...but nor do you want your child to be scared to death. If it is the small light that came in the car or plane shape at Target I think it is fine. Even if it is the larger red & blue flashlight I saw ...if it is kept low, pointed towards the ground it wouldn't give off that much light!

Also, I jsut bought some hand held fans at Walmart for less than $2...they have caribeners (sp?) for easy attachment and seem to put out a decent amount of wind.

And my best deal of the day was a disney princess scrapbook at Walmart for $8. In our store it was on clearance in the area by the candles and silk flowers (not the noraml clearance aisle). They had other stuff too...those foam like picture frames, I bought them to use the disney characters decorations for my homemade autograph book, they were like $1.00

I sure spent enough today on "dollar" items!!!

It was the carabeaner lite they had at the Target $ section. Not bright at all. These people acted like I had planned to shine it in guest eyes! :rotfl2: I am a nice person and think of others. Thanks for making me feel better about my purchase. :thumbsup2

how much were the ponchos?? Are they a decent quality? I have been looking for some to take down there but haven't been to Target yet!
