I went to Target today and used four "Free" item coupons today:
Free Minute Maid Juice (up to $4.43)
Free Coke 12 Pack (up to $4.99)
Free Coke 12 Pack (up to $4.99)
Free Nabisco Cracker (up to $5.00)
The price of each of the items was:
Minute Maid Juice $2.99
Coke $3.66
Coke $3.66
Crackers $3.89
Here's the good part...although the items cost $14.20, when the cashier scanned the coupons it took of $19.41 (I purchased a number of other things as well). I think the new barcodes are programmed to take off the full value of the coupons not reduce the value to the coupon to the price of the item!
Not sure why that is or if this is the same at all retailers, but I'm loving these new barcodes!
